Things go from bad to worse when the body count starts stacking up, the meet-the-parents dinner goes horribly wrong, and their elderly roommate is up to no good…dressed like a mime.

To top it off, Riley is forced to return to Channel 50 on official police business to question her spray-tanned news anchor ex-husband and his new weather girl fiancée.

The trouble comes to a head when Riley receives a warning from the killer: Back off or she’s next. Someone has to solve these murders before she becomes the next corpse.

What do you get when you combine a romantic comedy, a who-done-it mystery, and a touch of paranormal? You get another fantastic, quirky, laugh-out-loud story from Lucy Score. I know it may seem odd to mix all these genres together, but trust me it works! This book has some crazy and wacky characters that you will just fall in love with. If you’ve read the first Riley Thorn book, then all your favorites are back. But if you haven’t read it, that’s ok. You do not need to read the other one to thoroughly enjoy this one. But I do need to caution you, you will want to go read the other one immediately after! This book is a little less steamy as some of this author’s other books, but it is so hilarious and so captivating, that you do not miss the steam at all. The mystery will have you guessing the whole way through the book. It’s a fun and light read. Perfect for summer! Go make this book next on your TBR list!
