Review
This is the second book in The Gibson Boys series, but it is a complete standalone. You do not need to have read the other book. Each book in the series is about a different family member. This one is about Lance, a history teacher and the school librarian, Mariah. One thing I really like about this series is that they are about people that could be my friend in real life. Someone with a regular job. There are no billionaires, or social elite, or anyone that I could never relate to. I have to give credit to the author on the fact that one of the issues they deal with in this book, I’ve never seen in any other book but it is an issues that happens to many people. (I don’t want to give any spoilers away…just read it). Even though this is Lance’s book, I think I fell in love a little more with his cousin Peck. I can’t wait to see what happens in Peck’s book. If you are an Adriana Locke fan or you are new to her, this book is worth checking out.
