Review:
This is a new complete standalone romantic comedy. This was such a fun, quick read. When you combine a sunny Everly with her grumpy boss Shepherd, add in a fake relationship-turned-engagement and a cast of supporting characters that are funny and supportive, you get a charming and delightful read. Not only are there some laugh-out-loud moments, but there are some very sexy, steamy times also. The chemistry between these characters is electric. The side characters are intriguing and I hope we get to read their stories at some point. I also really enjoyed the path this story took in many aspects. Not only the path of the main characters but the hints of potential future stories. Both Everly and Shepherd showed such touching vulnerability as well as incredible strength as the story progressed. If you are looking for a quick, fun read then definitely get this book.

“Poor Shepherd thinks he is genetically cold and closed off. Sunshiney, happy Everly is there to help him save face by following his crazy scheme. She shows him that she can be trusted with his true self and helps him melt that cold exterior.” ~ Tracy, Book Cravers Blog
