She’s the last woman on earth I’d marry….again.
Yet here I am.
Saying my vows. Again.
To save an alpaca.
At least, that’s my story.
But the truth might be a little more complicated.
I didn’t want to let her go the first time. But now I have a second chance to win over my wife.
We’re older. Wiser. And hornier.
This time, I won’t fail.Hitched is a red hot, enemies-to-lovers laugh-a-palooza featuring a girl in need of a marriage of convenience and a man in need of a cold shower to keep from falling for his fake wife. They say opposites attract, but with Blake and Hope, they also combust…
When you combine Pippa Grant and Lili Valente you can’t help but get pure rom-com gold. This is the third book in the Happy Cat series. Each book is a complete standalone focusing on a different couple. There are crossover characters. Once you read one book you will want to devour the entire series. If you ever have a concern about how two authors can write one book when they are known as individual writers, this book and this series will prove that it can be done flawlessly.
There are so many things I love about this book. It’s a combination enemies-to-lovers/second-chance/marriage-of-convenience story. The chemistry between Hope and Blake is electric, the snarky and witty banter will have you laughing out loud, and the sweet moments will have you swooning. Blake knows just how to get under Hope’s skin and into her heart. Hope’s background and journey will have you rooting for her HEA. These two are perfect for each other.
Not only are these two great characters, but there are so many side characters that are just as hilarious and captivating. The texts between Blake and his brothers will have you snorting and wishing you were part of that family. In this book and the others in the series, animals play a big part. They are basically another character that we get to know and love. You will be left wanting your own alpaca, hedgehogs and raccoon…well maybe not a raccoon quite like George Clooney.
The one thing I love most about this book and the rest in the series, is that there is a heartwarming story and journey in the midst of the hilarious antics. Not only will you feel good from laughing throughout the book, but you will be smiling because in some way it touched your heart also.
I cannot recommend this book and this series enough. It’s a perfect, light, funny, quick read that will just make you feel good all over.
Includes a bonus novella by Lili Valente
