Review:

First, I love Tessa Bailey and when I knew she was coming out with a paranormal series, I was definitely intrigued.  I typically only listen to paranormal on audiobooks (no reason, just a weird quirk), but because this was a Tessa Bailey book I took a chance. Holy hotness, this book is amazing!!!

This book is an enemies-to-lovers story between a vampire and a slayer…if that doesn’t pique your interest just wait.  In this book you will also have suspense and some drama.  There is a push and pull and a sexual tension between Elias and Roksana that is electric.  Add on top of that, you have a hero who is so completely devoted and obsessed with the heroine it will have you swooning.  If that isn’t enough, this book has some of the hottest sex scenes I’ve read.  The story will have you on a roller coaster wondering what will happen next.  I don’t get many book hangovers, but this definitely left me with one.  The only cure I can think of is to go back and read the first book in this series, and try to patiently-not-so-patiently wait for the next one.

If you like paranormal…get this book!  If you aren’t sure about paranormal…get this book!  If you love a good enemies-to-lovers story…get this book!  If you can’t tell, I loved this book…so just go get this book!

Tessa Bailey is originally from Carlsbad, California. The day after high school graduation, she packed her yearbook, ripped jeans and laptop, driving cross-country to New York City in under four days.

Her most valuable life experiences were learned thereafter while waitressing at K-Dees, a Manhattan pub owned by her uncle. Inside those four walls, she met her husband, best friend and discovered the magic of classic rock, managing to put herself through Kingsborough Community College and the English program at Pace University at the same time. Several stunted attempts to enter the workforce as a journalist followed, but romance writing continued to demand her attention.
