Review:

This is the second book in the Chronicles of the Stone Veil series.  It is not a standalone book.  You do need to read the first book in the series to understand events in this book. It picks up right after the first book ends.

I love this world!  This story is just getting better and better.  There are several questions that are answered from the first book. But when those are answered more questions arise.  There are twists and turns, and layers to the characters as well as to the story.  Each page is more intriguing and just sucks you in. Finley is coming into her own, and I love watching her journey in this new world and new circumstances.  The sizzle factor between Finley and Carrick is turned up in this book.  The more this story progress the more I want.

This book does end in a cliffhanger, but the next book in out in just 3 weeks.  You don’t have to wait long to get the next installment. If you haven’t read paranormal before, I encourage you to try out this series. If you do read paranormal, they you will enjoy this world.  I cannot wait until the next book!
