There are so many things to love about this book!  I’m a huge fan of this author and follow her on all of her social media.  I don’t think I’ve ever read a book that just felt so much like the author is in real life.  If you don’t follow this author or have never read her, then you need to correct that travesty right now.

This is a second chance romance with some added drama.  Now, this trope usually isn’t my favorite, but since I will read anything this author writes, I knew she would not disappoint me.  The conflict that broke them apart and the resolution that brought them back together has such a realness to it, that it makes sense.  Nothing seems forced, or trivial.

This story is sexy and steamy, as well as sweet and romantic.  There is also a suspense element to it which was done perfectly.  This author has such a way with words that you will feel emersed in the surfer community and want to go ride the waves with Serena.  You will also want to step up and fight for all of the social injustices right along with her too.  I was so emersed in this world, that I was holding my breath right along with these characters.  I love what a strong-willed, fearless, and passionate character that Serena is.  Now I can’t forget about Cope!  I love how charming and protective he is.  I also love that he lets his vulnerable side out too.  He is so supportive of Serena and I’m here for it! Then putting the two of them together as a couple and it’s just perfect.

I can’t say enough good things about this book and this author.  This is the perfect summer read!
