Review:

This is a fun, flirty, steamy story.  It’s a little friends to lovers, with a dose of office/coworker romance, with a dash of fake relationship.  And it is nothing short of amazing.  If you’ve read Adriana Locke before you know all about the Landry, Gibson, and Mason families. All of them are great family series. I feel strongly that I need to warn you before you read this book…be prepared for the Carmichael family to become your favorite.  I am totally smitten with Moss.  He is the perfect balance between funny, sexy, and sweet (he also has some alpha in him when he needs it).  He is the perfect partner for Brooke.  I just want to hug Brooke in this book and become friends with her.  I know that many readers will be able to relate to her.  She has a very dysfunctional family, and from someone who also has strained relationships, I’m glad this author is not afraid to bring this aspect into the story.

Since this is the first book in the new series, we get to meet all of the family.  Let me just say that we are in for a wild ride for these brothers, and I can’t wait! I cannot recommend this book enough.  If this is your first look at Adriana Locke…get this book.  If you’ve read everything she’s ever written…get this book.  If you need a story to uplift your spirits…get this book.  If it’s not clear….get this book!
