I can think of a million reasons why it could never work but can’t bring myself to care about a single one of them. Game on.

Review:

This is the next installment in the Pittsburgh Titans series.  It is a complete standalone with interconnected characters.  You do not need to read the other books in the series to enjoy this one. If you have read the other books, you’ve met Brienne and know that she is the no nonsense powerhouse owner. We’ve also briefly met Drake, who’s an angry (rightfully so) single father, former hockey player. These two are explosive from the very beginning. Drake is angry, Brienne is determined, and together each interaction is electric. The more they interact that electricity becomes explosive chemistry. They both agree to a no strings fling. These two fight their feelings and fight their connection every step of the way, even though they bring out the best of each other.  This book wasn’t emotional, but there was a lot of emotion…grief, anger, mistrust, betrayal. I really enjoyed this book and every book in this series.
